Finally something I can’t put down

It’s ok. I started reading another book because I don’t really care what’s happening here. But I’ll finish it and get through the series to check out the hype. Maybe it gets better.

The internet says that TOG is far superior to ACOTAR but I’m only on book two and even the name Celeana bugs me. She’s shallow but good? She wants to hire servants to bring her cake at all times but slaves in Endovier is bad. I wanted a new book obsessed but she’s so annoying.

Am I in a slump? I can be basic so if the masses love something I’ll can join in (see: Game of Thrones). Right now, this is a slog.

Is it just me or is throne of glass just not as good as everyone says it is 👀 👀👀

I don’t know what happened. I was into the first book but somewhere it lost me along the way. The FMC and MMC? Eh. Felt so beige.

Anyway, I tried. But if I’m not ignoring my responsibilities to read it, then it’s not for me.

Never mind, he’s using her as a barbell. I’m annoyed again.

Somehow I got over my (very big) issues with book 1 and read book 2. While Shannon like the river is still called tiny a lot, they’ve stopped comparing her to a young child, which seems was my biggest issue. I’m definitely enjoying book 2 more than book 1. That said, my new issue (lol I’m not chill) is how often she says “Sorry.” And I’m Canadian. I say sorry too much. I can’t win.
