So fun! Was kind of hoping it was all a grief allegory (like babadook) but actual monsters were ok too. :)

So far enjoying the setup, where the MC is both stalkee and stalker, but waiting for things to go off the rails…..

I appreciate her talent and what she does but… ooof. This is taking me a long time to get through!

Kind of stalling out on this. I think she makes good points but then beats them to death. Like, I believe what you say about women’s magazines without us needing to discuss every issue of mccalls that was published in the last 40 years. I mean, it’s extremely well researched, but feels like every chapter is a full length dissertation.

Finding it hard to follow so far. So many characters introduced very quickly, having trouble keeping them all straight. Hopefully there won’t be too many more guests on this holiday.
