This is a life affirming book . I mean all life a plea to consider how we treat our cousins . Those of plant consciousness as we learn that we need to listen to each other and know that one human life has more value than another . So too must we humans Learn to the the plants and animals we share our home with in new ways . I love this book .

An interesting account . But heavily influenced by its time .
