I’m loving this book. I may like it slightly more than The Midnight Library.

Amazing book with depth in a broad spectrum of areas: consciousness, evolution, the Core Theory, quantum mechanics, morality and purpose.

I've spent way too much time reading this one, but hey, I was swamped the past few months. Get off my back; your boots are sharp.

"Brian updates his progress every time he picks up the dang book."

"Brother, 300 pages is a big deal for me. Do you see me as some kind of tenured reader? I just finished the Berenstain Bears"

Carroll's got a great head on his shoulders and has a way with words. Though, I disagree with him on many of his comments regarding theism. For instance, he thinks that if God were to exist, the universe wouldn't be so large. Why think that on naturalism a universe should exist at all? Anyways, his chapters on evolution are interesting but pretty challenging.

Carroll is a brilliant writer. I have a lot of respect for him, especially with how civil he is whilst debating. As a Christian theist, I'm looking forward to how he responds to Leibniz' Contingency Argument- although I feel it will resemble his interview with Robert Kuhn.
