What I need rn lol

Trying to focus on what I can take away which feels productive because there’s some subtle (sexist?) heteronormative way of thinking that the authors are pushing which makes me critical of the participants they studied

This book is triggering to read and I’m thinking about critiques of bell hooks lol. Would be good to read this with someone to discuss

Always hits… I ADORE this book. The storytelling and characters are so vibrant and alive. I feel a lot of resonance and compassion reading (listening in this case) each chapter

Ugh, one of those books that I have to utilize my critical thinking (remove what isn’t helpful) skills. I think with recent events that happened in the last month, this is a uncomfortable read

The way that I’m concurrently reading nonfiction related to Murakami today is ticking my brain. I smiled a lot today reading snippets of each book (Absolutely on Music, WITWITR, Novelist as a Vocation)… and I’m reminded of why I admire HM, his lifestyle, and reading in general. I got in touch with myself again and I’ve been missing this feeling deeply
