Loan expired. Maybe I will pick it up again and try to finish it some day… maybe not.

7 hours in (audiobook) and I’m wondering if I can stand another 16 hours of this. The concept is interesting, but the writing is pretentious and overstated, redundant, tedious. Not only is the writing style irksome, but the characters are insufferable. One or two characters with extraordinary minds/talents, experiences, misfortunes I can handle. But all of them? It’s exhausting and ridiculous.

Having a really hard time sympathizing with the main character.

Bleh. At 46% and abandoning. And I already skipped most of the story that begins with the guy running over the cat.

Wow. Chapter 28 just ripped my soul apart. Literally weeping uncontrollably.
