It’s honestly sometimes hard to read because of how mad it makes me and how they just can’t get help.

“Still others seemed content that finally they were out of the bus station, that it could not possibly get worse”(240). Possibly foreshadowing

I feel very angry that i can’t do anything and that he can’t really do anything to help his situation until the storm passes.

Page 134-135 I don’t have a specific quote I just hate the entire interaction with the soldiers. That is so crazy how they just don’t do anything at all! They can’t even be nice or helpful at the very least. It just makes me so mad that they just won’t do anything or even get someone else to help they just simply say they can’t do anything in a rude manner. So irritating

I love this story and how good it is in the middle of all the chaos and how kinda and helpful he is being it’s very different and I like it!

I like how it progresses so much it adds a lot to the story. I also like how zeitoun thought so little of the storm before it also shows a lot of character and how stubborn he is.

Takes me a while to read but I like it.

“The scene was almost too much, too beautiful. It was enough to burst a mans heart wide open”(49). I love this quote it is so perfect for the family and book and just so sweet!

Don’t love it cause it’s kinda boring but other than that very informative and I have learned quite a lot!

Even though the action has not started yet I see where it could go and relate back to his childhood especially by the cover and foreshadowing. I like all the characters so far and think it will be a very good read, not easy or fast but a fun/good book.

“She gave me a funny look and suddenly I realized that I’d been slowly gravitating toward her”(50). I like this because of how small and descriptive it is. I also really like this book so far, it is a light easy/fun read!

“It wasn’t that Rishi was wrong for her. It was that he was too right”(341). I love this and think it is the perfect representation for this book in general.

Another quote Iove, “‘You. Are. Beautiful. Lajawab. My only worry is that I might not be able to do you justice’”(220). This is so sweet and once again really speaks about Rishis personality and what he really thinks of Dimple.

“Dimple hung her head, guilt and resentment jostling for space in her chest”(337). I really like this quotes and this it pertains to Dimples character a lot and how she beats herself up a lot but also keeps strong to herself and knows best.

Their friendship and relationship kinda keeps escalating and getting better but it makes you wonder what will happen next.

“‘You’re eighteen.’ Dimple looked at him, wondering if this were some weird universe where Rishi would turn out to be a two-thousand-year-old vampire instead”(159). I like the way she describes this it really puts an image in your head and adds a playful fun vibe to the book!

I love the character development, I think it’s one of the main things the author does well in writing this book. It makes it a lot more interesting and fun to read and also keeps you wondering which is very good.

(forgot to update when i read this) I somewhat enjoyed this book i did like how different it is from most books i’ve read this year and I honestly liked looking at the themes but I did think it could be better/was not my favorite from this quarter but overall a good book and was fine to read just could get reparative/boring.

Again i really like the character development and how it really shows each of their personalities and thoughts on things and how smart they both are i really like!

I really like the character development with them both and how they have both learned to really like spending time with each other and nothing else seems to matter besides them.

I like how the book is progressing so far!

I really like it so far and feel like it’s going to get better as i read.
