Not going to finish this. I wish I would have read some of the poor reviews before I started it. I think the book was both over marketed, and not marketed for what it actually is.

Alisa is 24% done with Alcatraz: A Definitive History of the Penitentiary Years

I chose this book because it was free on Amazon prime and because I’m hoping to go to Alcatraz with Dia in November. In my opinion, it’s poorly written and poorly edited. However, I will continue to plow through because it does cover a lot of interesting things, just not in a well-written manner.
