Great story, lovely language.

An interesting (ugly) period of time. Reads like a YA.

Very different from the Monaghan series but with an ending I did not see coming - event or characters.

DNF audiobook Just seemed to be ramblings for which I didn’t have patience

I'll be anxious to read another by this author. His very imperfect characters add to the unique situations to make a very wild urban tale.

O'Reilly's books always tell the back story to what we learned in class. This one doesn't disappoint. He makes a great point in the beginning that it is important to know the facts before judging or doubting the past.
