Greta Gerwig really did just hit copy-paste on Laurie's proposal and Jo's rejection speech, and she was so right for that!
Also I love how Laurie's grandpa literally is like "Yo Laurie, Jo told me she rejected you. I guess you gotta leave the country now for a while. Welp." #bringbackmenfleeingtownaftergettingrejectedbytheirbestfriend

Crazy how emotional this book is already making me, and I haven't even hit any of the sad parts yet. This is gonna be one hell of a re-read experience (I've only read it once before, approximately 13 or so years ago).

Only 40-ish pages in and I'm already feeling like a man had no right to write this book.

Not me finally reading this book well over a decade after I bought it.

I hate how it can take me a month and a half to read the first 2/3 of a book but only a day to read the last 1/3

when you realize you're 4 books behind in a schedule of only 25 books and it's nearly July and you just kinda wanna sink into the earth and become moss because if one is doing so poorly on a reading goal than what even is the gosh dang point anymore?

Being away from home AND DOING STUFF for extended periods of time can be great, but it also has no mercy on one's reading challenge.

wow, I haven't been consistently active on here (aside from updating my reading challenge) for MONTHS.

when you see that you're two books behind schedule and you feel your life start to crumble.

Just submitted an essay for the possibility of winning a $1,000 scholarship that my music festival is offering this year...I'm going to be so excited if I win.

I really wish that Goodreads let us put a book into more than one reading challenge when we reread them so that they could still go towards our yearly challenge even if they were part of a previous challenge....

I looked in the back of the book and saw that there's an epilogue and I'm just not ready.

Having a total of 30 mosquito bites on the back of one's thighs is terribly annoying.

Also, I now have my learner's license...yay!
