So excited for my first audiobook experience into this world 😁😁😁

I marked this book as to read without knowing anything about it, simply because it was written by CL.

Gotta say, this book is kinda crazy. But in a sort of good way?

I just don’t understand how someone who has been training for two months can all of a sudden defeat three/four times someone has been training their entire life…and who has also been constantly referred to as the best student in the academy/class that they’re in, and is often referred to as God’s blessed because they’re so amazing… the logic isn’t logic-ing.

“When she decided to leave home to attend Caislean Costa, she hadn’t expected to be knocked on her ass in the first class in front of everyone. She hadn’t expected the bloody calluses she would find on her palms with every new day.”

Girl… you’re literally attending a school for knights to become the best possible warrior they can be. What the heck did you expect??! 🤔🤨🫠

I do not suggest eating whilst reading this book 🫣🥴

Ok I’m not sure yet if this is supposed to be so…um over the top…but I don’t know that I can get behind the villain wanting to literally enter a book and destroy it from the inside so no copies of the book ever come to light of day…all because you just don’t like the book?

I mean villain dude, just give it a 1 star rating on Goodreads and get over it…

Is anything actually going to happen tho?

Ok it’s right straight weird to share ownership of a dog with your best friends girlfriend. Why are they not talking about this more? (I mean, I know why but…..👀👀)

Yoo hoo, back to the boo

This feels like a collection of random chapters from a few peoples’ lives, haphazardly put together

Ok something happens then nothing happens then something happens and it skips 4 years and the something that happened just…happened? And that’s it?

Nothing is happeninggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

And the book feels longer than the “g’s” I just typed

A- why are we calling a pre-teen Madam?
B- why is she so rude?
C- why is she also so…insensitively…dumb?

This is a very long book

Slightly concerned that this guy just had a panic attack (in which he fainted) and the FMC is like “get control of yourself”... I get the enemies to lovers thing, but this just feels a little mean.

Please don’t do what I think you’re going to do.

All right Charlie, I’m coming for you. Don’t let me down.

This is kind of like the bachelor except I’m surprisingly into it 👀
