Having to read the descriptive passages of Perelandra several times due to exhaustion and depleted brain cells while nursing. I feel nearly aphantasic. I would pay good money to get in Lewis’s brain and see what he was seeing.

The author is a wonderful narrator. I love Aunt Eugenia, in spite of myself, thanks to Brower’s acting. Starting to get more invested in this world.

A plan has been made but I’m feeling horribly anxious. I don’t think this is a good book for postpartum reading, if my suspicions prove true 💔

The main character is a psycho. I’m a toddler mom and picture him played by Dominic Field (Tree of Wisdom on the Wiggles, iykyk). Very strange so far.

Memory made me audibly gasp and call my husband over. How did he do that???

Honestly I am finding this incredibly boring so far, and I was obsessed with survival stories as a kid.
