I enjoyed the book and the only critism I have are the gratitous attacks on Donald Trump. I should have expected that since the author does write for the NYT, which has made an industry of going after Trump and anyone who supports him. It's a sad and unecessary diversion although I understand the climate at the NYT and their penchant to disparge anyone who does not follow the Leftist ideology.
