Maybe it's because I never heard the podcast, or read anything of the first WTNV book, but I just could not get into this. So, unfortunately, it goes to the DNF pile, and I can't say Oh, I read that.

Read it for book club, and to say it was not my favorite would be accurate.

Really loved this, so far, but the ebook was due, and alas, I was left adrift. yes, I have the hard cover version sitting on my night stand, but, *gasp* go back to paper? Egads no!

I actually really enjoyed this. It's written in the report/interview type, such as World War Z. Interesting theme, nice character development and engrossing storyline.

I had to re check this out. I didn't think I was going to like it, but it actually caught my attention immediately and after ignoring it in my library for almost two weeks, I was hooked. I was reading it at dinner, then when I went to read it when I was going to bed, it had expired! That so sucked, I had to go find it somewhere and check it out again!

This is actually really good so far!

It's Sandman Slim. 'Nuff said.

I'm slogging through this. I got the feeling that another book had come before this, but alas, no. I see that the author has come out with several short stories that are prequels to this, I perhaps should have read them first. I understand that the world unfolds as you read, however, so much is left unexplained that you spend much of your time wondering why.. that being said, it's starting to fit together at 80% done

A quick re read, its been so long!

So far, this is suprisingly good!

This is actually the full book I'm reading, but I can't find it in English here.. 8)

Started well. Although it seems like part of a series, I've not had much issue with not having read the previous. Seems to be well thought out, and researched.

only have 4 days to read this one, lets see if I can rush through it.

Well, since I see Pierce Brown loved this one, I'll have to make the effort to get back to it!! I didn't stop because I didn't like it, I had other books push their way in front of it. (Red Rising was one of them!)

Started this a while back, but had to take a detour. Enjoying this series as well

I love Drizzt, and Companions of the Hall, but in this book.. I've noticed some strange things. I"ve actually started counting exclamation points... maybe its because I have the ebook ..

I"m not really digging this so much. The idea is good, but I'm finding the characters a bit flat and goofy. Not what I'd expect from Mr Lukyanenko.

Almost done. I've been sloughing through it. This series started out good, however, its definitely taken more of a turn to romance towards the end. So much so that I'm having a hard time finishing it. But I had to find out where the story arc (the sff elements) turned out, so I've trudged through it. This is definitely for Outlander fans, I think they'd be ravenous for it.

And I've put it on the shelf. Perhaps I'll try it again in a month or two.
