Great storytelling!

Ok, I've read maybe 35% and it's the same formula and language as her other work, which I rated poorly. Think I'll give up and suggest others give it a pass.

This was fun to begin with but has eroded into a hot (!) mess. Will carry on but it's agonizingly padded ..

Loved this book, and the character Olive. What a craggy defiant old B she is, and so much of her I find lurking in me. Thought provoking. The style of short stories, revealing Olive through other characters eyes was excellent. One of my favorite lines : "It was as if marriage had been a long, complicated meal and now there was this lovely dessert.''

Really enjoyed this story -- great characters and progression. Kept me turning the pages. Recommend

Struggling to read this syrupy sweet story. May abandon... don't often do that.
