I don't know why exactly but I can't seem to get into this book. I'm going to put it down and read something else. Like a mental pallet cleanse before I give it another shot.

The writing is very simple. Too simple. Yes, its the voice of a sheltered 16 year old bit she is supposed to be intelligent

the dialogue is really stiff but I guess you could say that their lack of social interactions caused this. still, its annoying.

irritating when so much emphasis is put on everyone acting weird and we aren't given even a hint of what is going on.... grrr

is it bad that so far the thing I find most unrealistic in this book is that the government is so organized? a crazy virus pops up and they have a plan in 1 month to save humanity but it takes days to get people off of their roofs in new orleans hmmmm

So far I'm really liking this book. It has a lot of promise
