It was very slow read for me but in the end I’m glad I finished it. It brought a few things to my attention in dealing with my own grief. I actually liked the side characters more than the main characters. Ms. Gretchen had spunk! I am finding out this is actually a series. I’m strongly pausing to contemplate if I want to pick up the others.

This one was a slow read for me. I couldn’t get off into it like I could the other Cartel books. I did like how they tied the characters together though. I’m curious to see if it gets better in the next book.
