I just finished The Sewing Machine: The absolutely charming must-read Scottish debut novel by the bestselling author of 25 Library Terrace for 2026!. I think it is available on “First Reads” for July 2026. If not First Reads than Prime Reading, so you can get the Kindle version for free with Amazon Prime.

This was such a “good read”. You really must!

I have so much to learn, and Ta-Nehisi Coates is such a fine teacher. I hope he never stops writing, and sharing these lessons with me.
