A masterpiece. Being inside Lestats mind is fascinating, his character has so much depth and intricacy. The beautiful language of storytelling is enthralling, so thought-provoking with many a wise quote. The extent to which we are enabled to relate and sympathise with the characters, and the richness of their stories makes you almost believe in vampires...almost ;)
