Oof. This family is way worse than I’d previously believed.

I’m halfway through and struggling hard to see the hype with this one. So far it’s just being locked up and escaping repeatedly with a side of bad romance writing… crossing my fingers the second half picks up or this one may be a DNF for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This was a nice surprise when I logged in to Audible. I love this series.

It may be the audiobook (the narration is horrible) but I’m really not digging this book. Still... it has a 4 star review average (???) so I’m hoping it gets better.

I love Jo Nesbo’s books but I’m having a really hard time with this one. The retelling of MacBeth as a dirty cop seems very heavy handed so far.i’m not giving up yet.
