oh i could always finish AHB's book in a day or two. it's that GOOD. this is a very good start of her new trilogy and im a rat who likes to gobble up her stories. i love how she explores intimacy. not the sex as intimacy (but also she's very good at this), but the quiet and soft moments between two people kind of intimacy. it always makes me cry. screaming. crying.throwing up.twirling my hair.

binging this in one day was a fucking horrible choice. my eyes are swollen and im a mess rn. i love how AHB dedicated the epilogue to honor the hearts of this series - to Delilah, Claire, Astrid, and Iris! it was a perfect scene to wrap up this trilogy. ive loved this series for 2 years; painfully waiting a year for each releases. im sad that it ended but i trust AHB to feed me again soon!

if you could hate fuck a book, then it would be this one for me. this is the most shallow, unserious, and irritating book i've read in a while. so much wasted potential. but i ENJOYED it. it's so bad it's good. so i'll give it a star.

Fictional characters are allowed to commit crimes but they aren’t allowed to be annoying. Murder is fine but I draw the line at irritating behaviour.

-i think some men should just stop writing female characters altogether because they seem to haven't interacted with one. jesus christ.

-the author is pissing me off with how he wrote the characters. one-dimensional, stereotypical, and annoying as fuck!

-almost decided to DNF this one but ngl, i became invested with the story. the writing is just downright awful but somehow it's also unputdownable and riveting.

-the writing in this book is nothing ive ever read before holy crap. it's so painfully gorgeous that i wished i understood its full depth and meaning.

-first half of the book i was almost ready to drop it, but the latter half — I WAS FULLY IMMERSED AND STARTED TO GODDAMN HURT!!! HOLY SHIT THAT WAS SOME NEXT LEVEL PINING BETWEEN RED AND BLUE!!!

this book makes me feel so dumb, this is harder to read than classic books. nevertheless, im enjoying Red and Blue's banter so much! literally flirting in different eras as enemies. saur gay.
