I have never liked a self-help type book, not sure why I thought this one would be different..

I read someone on here comment that they never rate celebrity memoirs on principle and I like that idea and plan on (attempting to) implement that myself but all that to say this was a really fantastic memoir, not at all what I anticipated. It was powerful and honest and demands to be read.

Never thought I'd read a Danielle Steel book while under the age of 50... but a co-worker passed it along saying "it reminded her of me" (what does this mean I have yet to discover) and I won't knock it before trying so here goes nothing
