This book is enthralling. I’m reading it along with a friend so we can dive deep and discuss, and I think that’s the best way to read this book. Schwabauer’s perspective is so thoughtful and engaging.

This book is an absolute delight.

This book is so immersing and the trials that Tol is going through and the loneliness she feels is heartbreaking and I find myself sneaking away to read the next snippet of this book as much as I can because there’s this beautiful thread of hope that’s woven throughout that is so enticing yet the darkness is so real. Katherine Briggs is a master storyteller! I need someone else to read this and talk with me!!!
