I loved this book. Its motivational and provides excellent advice for getting ahead and believing in oneself. The fact that Montanez had such a loving and supportive family and a few colleagues that believed in him was really heartwarming. When Montanez talked about doing something for the last name and legacy really resonated with me. I think if more people took that approach the world would be better off.

The paperback was missing a table of contents! Other than that, nice recollection of Sonia's beginnings to her elevation to the federal bench. Her story goes to show how important self reliance and an appreciation for one's roots can be. I appreciated her candor and honesty throughout.

Highlights the value of books and knowledge and the extent to which advocates and critics will go to get their way. Definitely recommend to everyone to checkout!
