Okay let’s be a productive person this year.

I'm having a love-hate relationship with the protagonist now. While he's being such an irrational jerk, at the same time, every of his utterance is damn lyrical and philosophical. I also like it when at first he seems to be a general drunkard, but after he is recognized, everybody there is like "OH, JESUS. THE LEGEND ARRIVES."

Gosh, I now know myself for real that I can’t be a detective. So far in the book, I can’t figure out who is the murderer despite the clues given. Am I too dumb? or it’s going to be a jarring plot-twist!!!!

From p. 72, it’s so awesome to see her writing style expressing their hidden feeling clearer. I dunno. I was just blushing.

“Alex leans in close, his fingers hovering over my skin. His hand falls away without ever landing.”

It’s not my type, but her writing and word choices mesmerize me. So.. i’ll keep reading!
