it would be different because if they never moved there, they never would've found the bomb shelter that was in their summer house's back yard

What confuses me is - i know her mom had her when she was 14 which means she was in the 8th grade. What confuses me is that gabys in the 7th grade and shes doing a project called the pregnancy project, but why is she worried if shes going to get pregnant or her friends thats in the 8th grade is going to get pregnant ?
