Okay so my hopes aren't high. First impression why does Alex talk like he's from some place else in another time. Everyone else talks normal but Alex in one sentence sound Shakespearean and in the next he's ending his sentences with "aye". They moved to WA state so I'm confused.

I'm half way through now and I still find these characters bland bland bland. All they talk about is the case and Farin's love life. Farin's not even a main character it's mentioned like every couple of chapters but she has more personality than anyone else.

hmmm, so i like this book but I'm not wow'd. I think the characters are a bit bland. Also the don't go into detail about the characters species, I'm assuming Lexsi is a demon? I have no idea.

Getting ready to start this book, so far thoughts from reading the synopsis are it sounds a lot like The Night Huntress series. Interested in seeing how this book compares.....

So far I'm just lost and confused, only 16 pages in and the story is a craze of rushed events. Plus Kealia is 19 but she acts like she 13 or something. Really immature.

Why isn't Zaviens betrothed mentioned he should have one by now according to the dragon laws.

Beginning is rushed. She apparently totally cool with being a shapeshifter dragon and a being uprooted and being an abomination.

Beginnings a bit rushed, everything is to easy. Like switching from acting to music it's to easy. Hoping it gets more realistic.

Ugh! Rae is such a push over and has no personality at all. She just lets Thea walk all over her it so annoying.

So are a little mellow dramatic and a bit unreal.

Ok I give! I've been scanning pages for a while now and I'm just getting more annoyed. Nothing is happening. Normally I'm ok with mystery while we're reading the story. Raine trying to figure out who or what she is why she has these abilities but in his book it's just annoying. Over half way there and I have no more answers then from the beginning of the book. So I'm calling it quits on this one.

Book feels rushed and is starting out really similar to City of Bones. Ok maybe City of Bones's bratty younger sibling.

The synopsis reminds me of the Night Huntress series. Let's see how it compares.

Slightly bummed Hannah's personality copies Courtney's from two way street. I love Courtney but Hannah's suppose to be a different person.

Slowly getting more interesting but I'm not totally engrossed like I'd hoped.

So far the book is meh. Characters are interesting but plot is slow to start.

Its a bit slow and Ryannes ability to do all this new magic and perfect self defense is unrealistic.

First impression writings a little stiff. Kayla does A then Kayla does B. More like a recipe then a story.

The constant doubting is getting frustrating. I mean the Fate is saying that Aurora had to go done this road. That her destiny was chosen for her but then all the adults around Aurora are talking down to her blaming her for past choices. I might have to take a break from this story and come back.

Sigh! Insta love. I'm not a big fan of insta love in fiction novels. Attraction yes claimed love no. carter has only spoken to Madison once and he thinks he loves her. Sigh.

Kinda slow and a little immature.

They so a lot planning. But don't get much done starting to loose intrest

Getting annoyed at the amount of Spanish. They don't always translate and I feel like I'm missing part if the conversations.

All the bad dog tribes and vampire groups us a little confusing.

Some inconsistency already. I thought Lex was suppose to be kinda quiet with her one friend but she's happens to already own a sexy dress, kick ass boots, and has a fake ID?
