Enjoyed this book. As a writer, I appreciated the struggles January and Gus experienced coming up with ideas as to what to create fir their new book
Felt the pain and emotions the characters went through, fear of commitment and feelings of guilt.
Looking forward to reading more from this author.

I felt it depicted what a 14 year old boy would think and say. It showed us what Indian life might look like on the Rez.
We need more of these type of stories. Kids need to see that what they are not alone, that others have similar thoughts and feelings.
This was a banned book and I can see why some people would be offended by the content. But rather than banned this book, why not have a conversation on this topic?

This is a journal. This means that I will be doing it over a long period of time. This is a unique type of journal where you're instructed to actually wreck it. I'll show pictures of just how wrecked it's coming along.
