Inspiring with some great tips.

Great read!!

I am having to force myself to not read the whole book in one sitting. The stories behind the hymns are fascinating and humbling. I am so happy I grew up with the hymns. I love modern music too, but there is something so deep and abiding in the lyrics and music that just can't be explained.

Very excited to start this book.

God's love is an objective truth that cannot be contradicted. But it is truth we must store away in our minds and hearts. Then we must use it in the midst of adversity to deal with our doubts, combat the accusations of Satan, and glorify God by trusting Him.

"Hombre, you've got to try this!" A giant liana vine hung down from the canopy into the middle of the path. A tree stump served as a jumping-off point for anyone who wanted to take a Tarzan-style swing, which was, naturally, pretty much everyone. pg 154 (well yes!! I would definitely do that)
