One chapter in and it seems like this will be similar to A Man’s Search for Meaning but more digestible. This is more of a narrative with psychology thrown in instead of an academic psychology book with a short narrative thrown in. Both obviously being important but one more accessible.

First Stephen King book! I’m reading my mom’s mass produced paper back copy from the 80’s, I love thinking about where she was while she was reading this book and what was going on in her life, she was probably younger than I am now reading this same copy. Anyways, this has already sucked me in. The only reason I’m not reading this whole book tonight is because I can’t keep my eyes open.

“How a Lie Grows” was a very powerful and relatable chapter

Before I get any further… pips development is so crazy and good. She is making all the wrong decisions. Like she’s trying to hide the fact that she killed Jason bell but her dna is all over the scene. She made sure of it. And there will be evidence of self defense so I’m not sure what she’s thinking. But she did just go through a traumatic event 🤷‍♀️

Off to a pretty slow start but it’s interesting to see how unhinged pip’s character has become
