A great motivational book. It taught me a lot about having faith in yourself and your dreams, I've never been so inspired by a book before!

I LOVE John Green, he is such an amazing writer. The Faults in Our Stars is about a young 16 year old girl named Hazel Grace who has cancer. The novel really follows the reality of her life and how she doesn't let cancer control her life. She goes to school and has a new crush and yet she satys positive about her condition. I envy her!

I just finished reading Catching Fire and it was amazing! Katniss finds out that there had been a plan among some of the tributes, like Haymitch who were secretly against the Capitol to break her and Peeta out of the arena. Katniss was completely unaware of the rebellion that was spreading like wildfire over all the districts during the games. The ending was awful because District 12 has been completely destroyed. :(

This book is getting more exciting every chapter! Katniss is off to the Capitol to meet up with Peeta & find out who got picked for the Games this year. I was surprised that the book didn’t go into any detail of how she felt about names getting picked, as she was in that position just a year ago. Maybe just confused but why would Katniss & Peeta have to be put in the Hunger Games if they won, just my opinion!

The issue of feelings between them arise and as a reader, I would love for them to end up together. I think that both Katinss and Peeta think their relationship got out of hand during the games because of a mix of fear and emotions. Then when Katinss gets back to District 12, Gale kisses her, so now full of emotions for both Gale and Peeta!

There are so many twists to this book, it's very exciting. Now in the book, the mom has completed held off her daughter's wedding until she finds out who killed the town's florist, b/c she doesn't think her death was an accident. But what's so ironic about the death is that the florist dies at the funeral home where she was delivering at. In my opinion, I think the funeral director might have killed her!

I've finally finished the Hunger Games and it was amazing, I can't wait to start reading Catching Fire next! I reccomend the Hunger Games to everyone, you will become obssessed just like I am. Now I'm reading this book called Pushing Up Daisies by Janice Hanna, it caught my attention from the very start of the novel. It is about a investigative woman, who is looking into the mysterious and sudden death of her sister!

The Hunger Games has gotten extremely intriguing, very quickly. Every year, the Capitol of Panem has the Hunger Games; a boy & girl, from the 12 districts picked to fight to death. All for the country’s entertainment, played out on live television. Then Katniss's sister get’s picked for the Games, so Katniss takes her place. She ends up meeting Haymitch, a former Hunger Games winner, who she can learn a lot from!

I just finished MississipibTrial, 1995 and I recommend it to everyone, truly a great read. Now I'm reading the Hunger Games and it has starting off very gripping. Right after the first few pages I was hooked! In the first part of the novel: The Tributes, I'm introduced to Katiniss and she is a huge provider for her family. Now these "Hunger Games" are starting in her society and she just might get invovled with them!

A very true novel to the terror that surrounded African Americans in Mississippi during the 50's. The author Chris Crowe, integrates the murder of Emmett Till with the plot of this story. After the main character Hiram comes to Mississippi to visit his grandparents, comes to meet and befriends Emmett. Then after Emmett goes missing, his body was found in the river; Hiram thinks he might know who killed him!

I'm almost finished with Push, & it was quite incredible, but hard. I rarely read books like this one; so raw & real, that you almost feel like your one of the characters. Just reading this book was very emotional for me because I know that the events that take place in this book is reality for someone out there. The mis-spelling of words & the vulgar language & attitude just add a more confident light for Precious!

I'm truly enjoying the novel Push by Sapphire, a book I've been meaning to read, since it's the novel to the movie Precious! It's very deep: personally and extremely raw: language wise; written almost like a diary; it immediately jumps right into the main character's past and life. It might not have the most politically and grammatically correct but it's so brilliant and terrifying at the same time.

I finished The Glass Menagerie & I would recommend this play to anyone. A very raw and intriguing play about a family of 3, struggling get by with only the son, Tom working. His sister, Laura, a very timid and cripple older sister struggles to have confidence in herself. While both of their mom' is pushing them towards her 'American Dream', for them to be stable on their own. I loved all the symbols in this play too!

The Adventures if Huckleberry Finn was not tinny liking so far, which I was very shocked by. I've always been putting off reading any of Mark Twain's classic novels like The Adventure of Tom Sawyer & The Diaries of Adam and Eve, and now I see why. This book is very detailed dialogue wise, but not imagery wise. It started off very slow but right to the point of finding out the main character's background in his town.

A diary, written by a teenage girl, tells the struggle she had in high school with drugs, alcohol and sex. It's very grim & authentic, you almost feel her pain & struggle as you read the book. I have read Beatrice Sparks' other 'diary' book, "It Happened to Nancy", that truly show some of the experiences of teen just like myself, even 30 years later, as this book was published in the 70's, still exists today.
