Hour 4 - Liking, liking, Ryen is still annoying af, let’s go already

Hour 4 - Was I this annoying at that age? Probably worse, especially if I had a summer beach house

Hour 3 - Liking this more and more

3rd hour - More intrigued to keep going, like the pacing, and even more references to The Little Mermaid

Making up 2 hours, more like 2.5 but super intrigued. A little unbelievable about not knowing each other with access to socials and a social life, band member, etc. But my interest is definitely piqued and ready to read more shall the wheel be in my favor.

I feel like I’m halfway through and nothing has happened… I also am starting to think I’m too old for this series.

Hour 1 - What a fun start…

Was that a reference to The Little Mermaid with the two eels visiting Lira? Eel-like mermaids, hmmm

Hour 1 - I like the characters and the set up, away we go.

There is no team to root for in this… bunch of psychos.

Hour 1: I couldn’t decide to start here or start The Selection first… trying to understand what the hell is going on.

I’m already super annoyed by this Nina person and her child of the corn.

“Like hell I will” is such an underused phrase in books and I’m officially petitioning it to be used more often. God, I’ve missed sassy female-lead fantasies.
