Grief is like that, sometimes. Two people, pushing and pulling, with no one moving anywhere except away from each other.

“In life, as in pinball, there’s no removing the ramp. It is going to be there whether you want it there or not, preparing to drop you off someplace. It is up to you. Are you going to enjoy the ride, or fight against it and come out unprepared for what’s to come?”

I’ve never read this many pages so fast. I’m hooked and I’m not even 50 pages in. Such an interesting concept to portray.
