I hope this book gets better. Dori does not appear to be a Christian. She just prays a quick prayer when she is in a bind. How convenient. She is very prideful: We have one of the biggest ranches, my brother got me the best education, etc. Her brother doesn't punish her when she needs it and then punishes her for things beyond her control. It's hard to read a book when you don't relate to the spoiled, main character.
