Off to a strong start. Way more action up front and doing an excellent job setting the tone for a “decades later” story while bridging the story and characters flawlessly. Happy to see a few name drops from elsewhere as well.

From my list of 176 read books in the last year(ish), there were 9 books that I just don't remember at all. I know I read them, but I couldn't name a character or location, or even the general plot in most cases. I added these to a separate shelf labeled, "I have no memory of this place" to possibly reread at a later date. So much on my TBR, plus a strong desire to reread many of my favorites... these can wait.

This book has been crazy and king of hard to follow, but also… good? I can’t seem to put it down despite having no clue who’s talking most of the time.
