I have read several of Cathy Glass books, and I was happy to find this book, that tells the story of her adopted daughter, who is part of other books I have read. It was good to see this little girl found a family to love her.

This was a sweet short love story. Both the young man, and the young woman, had issues with their dad, and mom. They both come back home to help their parent. Love blooms, while everyone works hard to reach their goals. New understandings grow between parent and child.

This was an audible book, with Adam Wade telling stories of his childhood, and early adult life, and the fears he had, and overcame in funny ways.

I didn't like the way the author ran down the Mormon men in her book. I have read many accounts of Mormon woman, and none of them spoke the way this author expressed them. I have also read a great deal about the handcart companies, and the feeling was unlike this book. I felt very uncomfortable reading this book, and it made me feel angry inside.

A teenager and a young child meet in a dangerous area of the city. The teen does all that she can to save the little girl, and in times of danger, says "Brave Girl, Quiet Girl," and calms the child.'
In the mean time, the mother is suffering from her car being high jacked, with her beloved little daughter in the back seat. Good story.

The narrator of this book wasn't very good. He children's voices, made it hard to listen. The story wasn't very interesting.

I didn't like the writing in the third person.

As I read this book, I wondered why this man got away with his sexual activities with you girls. He gave them a great deal of money. He had two massages a day, which lead up to other things. There were nude pictures of young teenagers on his walls. This man gave a great deal of money to charities. He was a math wiz, and had taught math. He gave money to the police force. He had many influential friends.
