The concept of a family/nation is new to me, and I wish I'd seen more of that. I would have liked to see more of the electromages, or more of the religion, or more of the exploration of gender. I appreciate the show, don't tell school of writing, but it felt like I saw everything in passing.

Set aside. Nothing wrong with this book, but it didn't hold my interest.

Put aside. Time travel, and not Regency enough to scratch my itch.

Cotton candy books. The best part is Moira Quirk's narration, but even on paper they're an amusing way to pass the time.

Re-reading for the third time there's so much to take in.

on book 5, and stalled. The series is good enough to read, but perhaps not good enough to recommend.

This is difficult for me to get into, too much contemporary and not enough P&P. Some of the character obstacles (introduced at breakneck speed in the first chapter) seem a little contrived, too. But the Elizabeth character is relatable, so I am trying again to get as far as the introduction of the Darcy character.
