Wow. Thought at the start it is about missing cases from the police. Looks like something totally different.

Danke an dp DIGITAL PUBLISHERS für das Rezensions Exemplar. Ich bin fleißig am lesen um vor dem 30.07. fertig zu werden.

Der Titel erschließt sich mir immer noch nicht. Eine Rochade ist der Tausch von Turm und König um einem Angriff auszuweichen. Wer in der Geschichte der Turm und wer der König ist habe ich noch nicht raus.
Ansonsten ist das Hörbuch super eingesprochen. Auch wenn sich die Geschichte zieht wie Superkleber.

Eine Mischung aus allen Klischees die es gibt. Roboter, KI, Strassengangs, Drogen.

Ich bin jetzt in Kapitel 5. Momentan ist es noch eine Ansammlung von unzusammenhängenden Einzelstories.

Ich habe es als Rezensions Exemplar bekommen. Leider erst Band 5. Somit fehlt mir die Vorgeschichte.
Daher ist es etwas schwer reinzukommen.

Chess was always a part of my life. But reading how it changed a little girl like this is strange.
I played chess during my Army time with more or less good players. Never was able to look more than two or three moves ahead. This girl plays whole games in her head.

Reading about the Man and his relationships to other family members, reminds me of my own. Not that my kids are like his, but the relationship to father and mother sound familiar. Thinking about his help in Good is impressive. This was never a topic for me.

Grad geht es nicht abzuspielen. Schade eigentlich.

Hörspiel der besonderen Art. Witzig das der FBI Agent aus Twin Peaks bzw. der Bösewicht aus Fallout einen Auftritt hat. Ich mag solche Geschichten.

To think your life is bad is one. To read these memories from an well known actor and to think, that’s real is nuts.
And there are some parallel to my own life I can think about.
He was pushed from his parents in a roll he didn’t want. Sounds like my own. Maybe this book will help to understand my own life a little better. Another he had helped. Thanks

When he started to talk about Good, I thought the book changed to something religious. But far away. He has a look at Good I appreciate really. Good is available. But he is not helping. If you ask for help, it’s like waking up and thinking about what can be done to change.

If all is real what he has written, it is one of the strangest life’s I have ever read before.
On page 39 he is around 20 years old and has more time in the prison than outside.

Just started. If the book goes on like the foreword, hell what a life.

There are so many different ways to see our life. How about a global company who desires to be a global religion. How does this affect life?

Mal wieder die alten Schinken ausgraben.
Finde mal einen Minotauren in einer Westernatadt. Was gibt es einfacheres, wenn man ihn mit Slapstick infiziert hat.

Ein höchst verstörendes Buch. Wenn man sich mit der Deutschen Geschichte auseinandersetzt, denken viele, wenn nicht sogar die meisten an das was innerhalb Europa so alles passiert ist. Kriege, Kaiser, kleine Länder die zu einem großen Deutschland wurden.
Aber es gibt auch die Geschichte außerhalb. Namibia, von den Deutschen als Deutsch Süd West Afrika betitelt Ist eines davon. 1903, ein Land im Wandel.

Ein Landvermesser der 1903 von Berlin nach Deutsch Südwest Afrika reist um Karten zu zeichnen. Herero. Es ist fastzienierend welche Begriffe in der deutschen Geschichte für die afrikanischen Ureinwohner verwendet wurden. Dieses Buch wäre heute wohl nicht mehr möglich zu schreiben. Nicht mit dem ganzen Gender Wahnsinn

I started this book some 16 years ago on two diving safari on the Maledives. After two weeks I was half way through. Left in the book shelf and lost it.. No 16 years later I start anew. And it is still hard to read. The descriptions are so detailed that you need a lot of time and peace to read.

So viele Begriffe für die Afrikanischen Einwohner und keiner Heutzutage weiß mehr woher sie kommen. Seyfried schreibt über einen Kartographen der in den 1903er Jahren nach Deutsch Südwestafrika, heute Namibia geht. .

The story ends and on the last pages a lot of open knots are to be finished. The part after the destruction of the ring could fill whole books.

When you come to a part in the book where you think:”Now it’s over. All die or be slaves for the rest of their lives.”.
And than this Hobbit tries to kill some Orcs and everything is open again. That’s Tolkien in its best.

Still impressive how all is described. But the differences between book and film are massive. The Road of the Dead is a part, but the Army of the dead had only helped to fight for the ships and not for Gondor. Merry and Pippin are the main antagonists. Not Gimly and Legolas as in the film.
I love to read it.

Zuhören ist einfach. Und Sherlock Holmes war schon immer eine gelungene Abwechslung.

Warum auch immer, die Geschichte ist zu vorhersehbar.

Was ich aber interessant finde ist derdoch offensichtliche Umgang mit aktuellen sozialen Themen.

Still the differences between reading and memory are existent. And I think a lot of the film is digferent to the book.

Why do I feel so familiar. Had read the book only 4 or fife times now.
And yes there are still some spots I do not remember.
The movie is also interrupting the memory of the book. One point in the halls of Moria where the one of the hobbits is throwing a stone down the pit doesn’t compare to the film. Or better the film changed the scene.
So the book is the source of all. All fantasy goes back to LOR.

He never was in the film. Should have been some really great part. I love him and his art.

As time flew by. My last read was nearly 15 years ago. But running over the pages is like coming home. The story and the characters are like old friends. And still there are some questions. Where had Gandalf been in all the years. How had Frodo survived without money.
