I want to buy a copy of this book for everyone i love.

I have been listening to this audiobook and the further I get inside it the more I’m loving it. Slow start but moves along sweeping you up in the language and the stories across time. You fall in love with each character, cheering at their victories, weeping in their defeat.

So hard to read. I start and I stop. I’m putting it aside

Reading this on audio book -- I can see why this one the Pulitzer -- the beauty of the words goes beyond the content. I love this author's writing the way I love James Lee Burke's. You can't compare the content, the genre or even the style, but each author puts words together in such a delightfully beautiful way that you want more, more, more.

I am flying through this one.
