Thus far, I’ve found this book to be insufferable, I hope it’s going somewhere

Even if the entire book was just a long trail mail between Red and Chloe and absolutely nothing else, I would read it. <3

This story is so senseless lmao, where is it even going

I just don't understand why the author keeps casually bringing up 'school shootings' and comparing them to other (quite normal) human behaviors and activities.

It's so tone-deaf.

The writing style is putting me off. It’s so immaturely descriptive. Reminding me of my wattpad era.

“Open your big brown eyes for me” (at this point in the book and they’re not even cordial acquaintances)
*Gag* sorry no I can’t ew.

"I closed my eyes and imagined a bright, thrumming silence entering me like a penis, emitting these sort of white rays that muted my body’s nervous noise."

"I looked at him a lot. I touched him all over with the fingers of my eyes."


I knew that this book wasn't going to be good, and I'm embarrassed of what prompted me to read this to begin with. That said, this specific sentence makes me want to ...throw up.

I'm just so so bored. I'm not the kind to DNF books but I might have to because of this. Let's see...

Conflicted about the writing style. It adds so much to the book because it's all about the characters but sometimes I just want them to get on with it.
