ok hear me out: Somi is possessed by the eoduksini. Eventually Seokga will realise the Hani is the scarlet fox and refuse to kill her, giving up his godhood. Hani sacrifices herself by forcing him to swallow her fox bead, killing her. Seokga is reinstated, Hani gets reincarnated for assisting in stopping the eoduksini, but loses all her memories

"the plot, it seems, has thickened considerably." Well, one would hope so 30% into the book lol

the plot is ridiculous and the stakes are lower than the ground. cosy urban fantasy for the win
