The book is supposed to be a mystery, but no. I know the writing is from the perspective of someone with autism, but that doesn’t mean the author has to make the writing style full of unnecessary details that don’t serve the story

I know that dealing with people with autism can be difficult, but that doesn’t mean you make it difficult and annoying for the reader through the writing style.
