Doing the audio book for this one but I might have to switch to physical. McCurdy is a phenomenal writer but her narration is not doing the text any favors. I wish she had gotten someone else to read for her. I realize that she's a professional actress and also knows how she would want it to be read - but my gosh, shes reading it entirely too fast and every line oozes the same bored delivery that its nigh unenjoyable

So far very much enjoying this. Robert is a little insufferable but other than that, the story is keeping my interest. So short for such a classic!

Literally just got done ranting to my sister about how angry this book made me. I was enjoying it fine until a gang grape scene came out of literally nowhere. I am hoping it wasn't put in just for wanton cruelty because that has not been the vibe at all thus far but I can't lie, this has marred my continued resding experience with the book.

Interesting and entertaining, just got to the big shift in the story somewhere past half way. I’m obsessing over the show right now 🤩
