I like it so far, good atmosphere. Lots of real shit.

Interesting. I like the idea that something else is going on. The bible shouldn’t be taken literally.

Finished the book. The ending was kind of sudden and I’m not sure how I feel about that. Book review coming before or on Thursday.

I understand that Sara is constantly feeling sorry for herself. But she seriously needs to stop getting on other peoples backs about how their problems are small.

Anna's parents officially know about the lawsuit their own daughter is filing against them. Sara, Anna's mom is going to be the lawyer. I really enjoy hearing from Jesse's perspective, he feels worthless and wants to die. Turns out Jesse is the person lighting all the fires that make his dad have to leave home because he's on call 24/7. I'm interested in finding out why he does that. I'll talk more about Sara soon.

Of course it seems like a horrible thing to have a child and force them to go through the things Anna goes through, but it could also be seen as the parents splitting the pain between two children so one doesn’t have to suffer even more or die. It’s a real moral dilemma if you ask me.

The pace of this book is absolutely perfect. It’s not too fast or too slow. I like the flashbacks, they give insight to the characters’ relationships with each other. The deeper I dive into this book the more I see how there isn’t a real villain.

I’m enjoying the multiple perspectives.
