Finished A Discovery of Witches

Also, in trying to keep up with all the dates and locations for the letters, I am seriously questioning how some letters take so long for a reply as would be expected of the time, while others seemed to be received and replied to instantly, almost as if they were emails.

By this point in the book, I'm debating whether or not I love that this book is written in epistolary form because I'm a fan of dialogue more than simple narration and exposition to move along a story... Yet still there are moments where I'm over all the letter writing.

Just now getting to Darcy meeting Elizabeth, but it was interesting to see what was happening in Darcy's life leading up to that point

I think I'm gonna read a few Christmas JAFF books before the Christmas season is officially over with Epiphany... and yes, I know how silly it might seem that I waited until after Christmas to start reading holiday-themed stuff.

Now that I've read The 26th of November by Elizabeth Adams with it's Groundhog Day-esque spin to Pride and Prejudice, I want to go back and re-read The Many Lives of Fitzwilliam Darcy by Beau North and Brooke West, which is a time loop spin on P&P as well.

I've been reading so many unpublished stories the past couple week or so that I wish there was a better way to keep track of them on here...

I'm really struggling to read this. It's not quite what I thought it was going in, and as much as I love the Little Mermaid and don't think I'd mind a mash up with P&P, this book is falling flat with me at the moment. I might have to stop here and maybe I'll come back to it another day.
