These short stories are filled with horror and monstrous nouns and adjectives that the first-person narrator experiences. I'm not into horror, though this is more tales of the strange. I am trying to read one story in between enjoyable books. But so far it is painful. I'm hoping it gets better or grows on me. But as of now, I think I wasted $2 and hours of time. Who told me that Lovecraft was good?
