This book would be 50% less dense when everything that is said more than once is removed. It would also become even more relevant when industrial design techniques and insights are used. Good info, but try to not repeat the same stuff each chapter kay? x

Starting another book that is science-based. It is extremely interesting so far, and it connects to several other books I have read and disciplines I know. These are emotional ignorance and the practice of physical therapy. Interested to see where it leads.

Okay so this book is escalating extremely quickly. There will be spoilers in these updates so beware.

A 14 year age difference? Brothers best friend? Okay that is possible but she is literally 21. Kind of weird no? Escalation is happening very quickly. It is a weird tension but I am enjoying the storyline. We all know how it will turn out but maybe there will be a surprise.

Okay so I have started to literally read the whole book. I need to stop though but I will make an update. Is the mmc morally grey? Yes. Is it a healthy relationship? No. Is it entertaining to read and will have you rooting for a good end? Also yes. So I mean this book is doing a good job at an entertaining story that I want to read as fast as possible. Looking forward to the second half!

Ok so the introduction to this book catches my attention right away. An arranged marriage with the most eligible bachelor? They hate each other? Love to see it.

Imma need me a Weston in my life. I am loving this book and the way the gentleness is incorporated. It makes me feel warm inside.

I am going to sleep but I am looking forward to finishing this book. It has an allure to it and only with really good books I haven’t been able to put them down. I hope there will be no further complications down the road that will bring me to tears.

Well I have started yet another cowboy romance, and it is fucking amazing.

Weston is so extremely funny I have laughed out loud about multiple moments in this book so far. Love the gentle and joking approach he has for Skylar. I like the character dynamic as well!

The only thing is, Weston is a horse trainer, and he compares humans in a fashion like “how would I handle this situation with a horse?” Weird.

Read a good stretch! I am loving this book, it is better written than the first one until now. I want to continue reading but I have to get up bright and early so will continue tomorrow.

Well now I am crying because this is too sweet and heartbreaking at the same time

A military man that is stepping in to save his special “friend or acquaintance” if you will with the threat :”touch her and I will kill you”. Damn straight he will, and I am here for the plot

Okay so the book is getting more and more interesting. The characters are very nicely written though I wish there was a bit more plot going on. I like the way the present and past are entwined though, so that has me wanting to read further.

I just love books with horses and the more masculine characters. Cute!

Ok so. Of course the plot is that the worst case scenario the mmc is fearing happens to the fmc. And that leads to them sharing the same house with sexual tension due to history. Love when it is predictable!!

Ok new book started. Again, do not read these updates if you do not want spoilers.

So page 4, live that we started off with where we left off with the other book. What we need to keep in mind is that this is the first series Elsie has ever written so a lot still needs to improve. That being said, page 4 is very veeeeery fast to be turned on to the mmc. It is a record I think. We shall see.

I am so loving this book and these characters! The way they silently show their love for another is so cute and honestly endearing, would very much like to have that and give that. I am reading this book with a hot chocolate on the couch with relaxing music, and it is exactly the vibe for this book. Also, she is the eldest daughter continuously saying sorry, so I love that recognition.

I am curious for the rest <3

Starting a romance read alongside non-fiction for some more interesting stuff.

I am liking the way this book is set right now, although a little too straightforward (which on the other hand I can appreciate due to AuDHD), I like the way these characters are written. Looking forward to reading more!

Love the progress, and am curious to see how culture plays a role in all this. Computers were invented by 6 women?? They were the ones to do the coding because men couldn’t?? How did it end up being a male dominated job??

Endless questions…

Okay long time no update, but I am so involved in this book. Though now that we have come to the academic part, it really intrigues me. Coming from a technical university I see these things around me as a female a lot, and it is interesting to see the statistics behind it.

“The result is when brilliance is a requirement for a job, what is really meant is a ‘penis’.”

This book with this little pages has already shone so much ligt on the problem, and I am here for it! Especially as design is my field, it is important to know these things.

The male is seen as the universal, whereas the female is seen as the niche identity and the subjective point of view. The male POV is seen as absolute truth, universally. Women are set up to be dispensable, ignorable and forgettable.

Damn.

Expect a lot of updates. Mind is shocked already.

So tell me why this book is very enemy like the whole first half of the book, like the denying the spark and everything. But tell me WHY they suddenly decide to do some interesting stuff when they hear others banging in the hot room next door? What the actual fuck?

This is not the cute cover I have, so that is sad. Nonetheless, what is a better palate cleanser than reading a cowboy romance that deals with racehorses? The best of both worlds.

I couldn’t finish it yesterday because so much was happening. What the actual fuck is in this book and why is it so good?! I am flabbergasted
