I've never read extreme horror before. Part of me thinks this is just going to be horror porn on paper, but we'll see.
I'll try anything once! Or twice, even.

Per usual, i got distracted by a million other projects but i like this, will probably finish today. I have to suspend my disbelief a bit with how the characters seem to be relatively unbothered by the deaths all around them, but for the sake of story progression, i get it. No one wants to read 300 pages of people panicking i guess.

Don't mind me, just crying in public

I'm reading things lately that are outside of my usual literary interests but I'm INTO IT. love the concept of this book (basically a world where you receive a phone call to alert you that you will die within 24 hours) and the characters are relatable. Makes you think about what you'd do with your last day and what is truly important in life.

I know this is a murder mystery type novel, but they found the body on like, page 2 and still haven't revealed who is dead on page 80. At this point, it seems like such a deliberate withholding of information that i feel impatient.

This could be a "me" problem though, not necessarily any fault of the author.
