Very well researched book. Somewhat uneven handling of Elliot’s life with the lion’s share focusing on her life up to 1967. I understathis is due to not being the authorised biographer and not receiving access to all of Elliot’s later papers. Therefore there is perhaps a touch too much detail, particularly of travel itineraries and not enough detail of her later theological views and why and how her views changed. Bu
