Francesca is on page 145 of 224 of Allow Me to Introduce: An Insider's Guide to the Occult
DuQuette is like that guy you meet on the airplane, sitting next to you, that is genuinely aware of who he is to you. It's electrifying to read someone love themselves in spite of how judgemental you're being. I'm enjoying it and feeling like I've never really listened before...dropping names like you're supposed to know who these people are.
It reads like a friend you haven't caught up with in a long time.

Falling asleep - can’t tell if social tiredness or the book is so hyperbolic of modern science, that it fails to keep my attention.

It’s a pretty read, but very negative about humanity. I understand given the immense damage we can do. I chuckled at a like she wrote predicting CRISPR and it’s use. Very forward thinking.

What a hilarious and wonderful ride so far. Everyone is afraid and certain... while preacher remains he doesn’t know exactly what is going on at all times. I’m enjoying it quite a lot.

So funny! Want to buy to see if it's still cutting when I'm less angry (in general).

Still so funny, but the formula of 'random event' and then information on the workings of the Whitehouse is becoming apparent. I don't understand a lot of the jargon and there are almost too many characters to keep track of.

Introduction was strong and laugh out loud, but getting very technical now and as an uninitiated Australian - getting confusing.

Enjoying the second part as it's emphasis on cultural history. It's brave for current conditions against stereotyping.

Part one was very interesting, part two a bit lame in its examples as you could skip to what applied to you. VERY REPETITIVE.

Seems like good budgeting advice all round, but the added deadline of a HUMAN BEING just makes it more pertinent to do these things.

I want to give up now. There's no argument at 66 pages, only history through the eyes of the author. "Wars broke out in the name of faith or reason" which one? What about assassinations or political reasons? This guy is a chimney sweep.

It started slow but has taken a turn for the raunchy. And I'm intrigued only because I recognize a lot of the situations: a crumbling society, naive young love, distance and taking chances at a better life.

David cohens interpretations of his work are very procedural yet produce beautiful work. I'm very impressed by the education and use of bold to highlight important concepts such as line etc.
